While Microsoft announced some time ago that hotmail would get a refresh, we’ve been waiting for this to be pushed out globally.
Logging in today I received the new interface. If your a hotmail user, jump over to http://mail.live.com and see if you have the update.
The new version of hotmail is really a merging of the traditional classic look and the new look that came with the Live Hotmail rebranding. While there’s not really new features in this release, a notable change is inbox searching has been separated out 2 it’s own search box, giving a much more Outlook-esk type experience.
