If you’ve got an iPad that’s become a very expensive digital photo frame, it may be time to consider new uses for it. Budding DJs should be aware that audio powerhouse Pioneer have WeGO and ERGO controllers and now a newly released iPad cable to connect them. The WeCAi cable allows you to move past the digital controls and take advantage of real hardware. The WeGO/ERGO’s tactile controls cant be used to mix and mash up tracks from your iTunes library just by plugging in the iPad and a set of headphones.
For the advanced users, there’s also video mixing on offer using Algorridim’s vjay app. The Pioneer DJ cable for iPad will be available in May 2013. For a more detailed look at the system, check out the video below.
