Polestar has wrapped up production of the hybrid-powered Polestar 1 and to send it off with a bang, they created 25 limited edition vehicles in gold.
Last week in Gothenburg, Sweeden, Polestar handed over 3 of the final 25, each of which were signed by CEO of Polestar, Thomas Ingenlath at the Polestar HQ.
While the company’s focus has now firmly turned to fully electric vehicles with the Polestar 2, the Polestar 1 introduced the world to the design and styling that sets them apart from their parent brand, Volvo.
It’s hard to ignore that matte gold exterior, it looks fantastic and is something I’d love to see the company offer as a premium option on future vehicles.
