SONOS take their audio to your ears as they enter the headphones market with SONOS ACE

It’s official: Sonos, the audio masters behind those sleek soundbars and speakers, have finally released their first-ever pair of headphones, the Sonos Ace.

If you’re a fan of Sonos’ signature sound quality, you’ll be thrilled to know they’re bringing that same high-fidelity experience to your personal listening. But that’s not all. The Ace is packed with tech designed to make your music, movies, and even phone calls sound better than ever.

    • High-Fidelity Goodness: Sonos has packed two custom-designed drivers into these headphones, promising crystal-clear audio across all frequencies. Your favourite tunes will have never sounded so good.
    • Private Cinema Time: One of the coolest features is the ability to instantly swap your TV audio from a compatible Sonos soundbar to the Ace headphones. Imagine enjoying immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound without disturbing anyone else in the house! Plus, a future update will add “TrueCinema” tech, which promises to create a virtual surround sound system just for you.
    • World On/Off Switch: Whether you need to block out the noisy world with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or tune in to your surroundings with Aware mode, the Ace has you covered.

Sonos hasn’t just focused on sound quality, though. The Ace headphones are designed to look and feel as good as they sound:

    • Sleek Design: With a slim profile, matte finish, and metal accents, the Ace looks like a premium pair of headphones.
    • All-Day Comfort: Lightweight materials and plush memory foam ear cushions mean you can wear these for hours without discomfort.
    • Intuitive Controls: Sonos has made it easy to use the controls even while wearing the headphones, with contrasting colours and tactile buttons.

While we haven’t had a chance to fully review the Sonos Ace yet, we have some on the way and will have a full review soon.

As someone who has enjoyed SONOS audio in the home for years, my expectations are high and the feature certainly look impressive. It looks like Sonos is serious about shaking up the headphone market, and the Ace could be a game-changer for those who prioritise sound quality and comfort.

The Sonos Ace will be available in Australia from June 5th for $699 AUD. Stay tuned for our full review to see if these headphones live up to the hype!
