Symbian S60 a real competitor for the iPhone

A lot of phone companies are still creating the very traditional mobile phone designs that we’ve come to expect over the past 5-10 years. However there’s a new undeniable player in the market now – Apple’s iPhone.

It’s really raised the bar for what people expect from a phone. Although critics may accuse manufacturers of producing iPhone copies, I like to think of it as companies really understanding new consumer expectations.

An interesting addition is support for Flash Lite 3, enabling rich web video on the S60, however the video shows the use of a stylus which I prefer was left out.
