Microsoft’s Michael Kordahi just announced a discount for TechEd attendees. They can buy the 64GB Surface RT (A$389)  including the Touch Cover ($99) for just A$299. Normally this setup would run you close to $500. There’s a limit of just one per attendee and is only available to attendees.

By comparison, TechEd America attendees got the same deal for US$99, so there’s a little bit of Australian tax on this one. Still if you were considering the purchase anyway, it’s an opportunity to save significantly.

If you want to know more about the Surface Pro before buying it (assuming you’re at the conference) then head over to http://surface.com.au or check out my review
