Ten’s very own dedicated High Definition channel will launch on the 16th of December.
The channel will feature over 50 hours of high definition programming each week. This is extra or additional content than what’s on the standard broadcast for Ten.
It’s a great time to have a HDTV, with Prime and Win also offering HD content. What needs to happen now though is TV’s need to automatically switch to the higher quality channel if the content is offered in HD, rather than it being a user-driven initiative.
