Apple Music is now available. The streaming service starts with a 3 month free trial where thanks to Taylor Swift, Apple will pay artists everytime you play. You know Apple are serious about a new product or service when they takeover Apple.com with a promotion.
If you want to signup, a single plan will cost A$11.99/m or A$17.99/m. If you sign up, your membership will automatically renew at the end of the trial period, so if you decide you’re going back to Spotify, you’ll have to set a calendar reminder to cancel the service.
Your free, three-month trial membership gives you the full Apple Music experience on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC. To access Apple Music, you’ll need to update to the latest version of iTunes, yep, no web-based experience, that’s a big barrier to entry for some.
