The lovely Reddit has surfaced a new gem today, a Facebook Beta app for Windows Phone. Since Facebook launched on Windows Phone, it has always had it’s issues. A recent update this year made the app more useful, but this new Facebook Beta app is the biggest change since launch.
The update brings the Facebook mobile experience into line with what’s on offer with Android and iOS, but retains the Windows Phone styling.
If you’re thinking this update would bring chat heads, you’re wrong. The app now allows you to share posts, a major omission from the earlier versions. There’s also dramatically improved support for people who manage pages and participate in groups.
