There have been reports that a Kia EV6 facelift has been spied in Korea and is due for official reveal sometime in 2024.
Will it arrive in Australia shortly after or will we have to wait until 2025? Kia Australia declined to officially comment on my query.
They also didn’t comment on whether the Australian Kia Niro EV would get any major spec improvement for 2024.
To make this model more competitive with the Tesla Model Y, new Hyundai Kona etc it would be ideal for the Niro EV to move to the more spacious and ultra fast charging capable E-GMP platform.
Kia Australia has previously announced that the Aussie Kia Niro EV S will have a 2024 refresh that includes the same larger and more modern 10.25 inch infotainment screen equipped with built-in Kia Sat Nav (7 years free updates) and Kia Connect remote control app (7 years of service included) as the higher spec GT-Line version. These new features come with a $1290 price rise.
