It’s not every day the CEO of Facebook does an interview, even rarer after the public IPO. Mike Arrington had the chance to grill Zuck at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. During the candid interview Zuckerberg revealed a number of interesting tid bits.
It really is a great interview and gives some great insights into the inner workings of Facebook and the future vision of the company. It seemed no question was off limits, which is how an interview should be. Naturally the hot topic of the disappointing share price was covered as well as the often rumoured Facebook phone.
While Zuck says a Facebook phone doesn’t make any sense, he does say how important mobile is for the company. “mobile users are more than twice as likely to use Facebook more than 6 or 7 times per week”.
