Porn site CamSoda slapped its logo on the side of Zoox autonomous vehicle. Wants to use ultraviolet lights to clean ‘SeXIa’ AV [Updated]

    Update

As I expected, CamSoda did not have permission to use the Zoox vehicle in their marketing and overnight I received two emails regarding this matter.

The first was an email from the general counsel for Zoox, Inc. sighting this blog post (among others), and the images used in the post as violations of their IP, utility patent, design patent, and trademark.

Subsequently, I received an email from CamSoda PR, who claims the following:

CamSoda sent the wrong image for their product. One of the images erroneously depicted a Zoox vehicle, which was intended as an internal placeholder image, not for circulation. CamSoda would like to make it vehemently clear that there is no relationship whatsoever between them and Zoox. You will find the correct rendering attached. CamSoda has never had any plans to use Zoox vehicles in association with any “SeXla” project or any project related to the same.

I’m not sure I believe that explanation, but here’s the updated 3D render of a vehicle that will almost certainly never see the light of day.

The original images have now been removed from this post.

One of the craziest emails in my inbox today is one from the adult webcam site CamSoda.

Today, they unveiled the rendering for an eco-friendly, autonomous vehicle, “SeXla.” They say it’s inspired by the rise in autonomous robots – and considering many city dwellers don’t have access to a car – the SeXla gets people to their destination, while also getting them off.

Wow, I’m not sure of the cleaning bill on this one, but it would likely be more than the cost of each ride.

The safe-for-work renderings of the vehicle are below and appear to be a simple exercise of slapping the CamSoda logo on the side of the Zoox autonomous vehicle and we’re not sure they asked before doing so.

Zoox is actually a legitimate autonomous vehicle company that has been around since 2014, their parent company is Amazon and this year was given approval by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to begin testing self-driving robotaxis on open public roads with passengers on board.

CamSoda says people will be able to step inside the vehicle and fasten themselves in to enjoy a “revolutionary masturbatory experience.” – I’m not sure the world is ready for that revolution.

The vehicle will be decked out with a 4K LED screen live streaming a beautiful cam model the passenger can interact with via voice and video. All cars are equipped with disinfecting Ultraviolet lights, which have been shown to kill many viruses and bacteria. – There’s not enough ultraviolet light in the world to clean up after that trip.

The vehicle will also come equipped with plenty of lube and tissues. Customers interested in riding in the “SeXla” will pay like they would if they were riding in a taxi.

CamSoda is looking to deploy SeXlas in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin.

The Internet has been sent into a frenzy lately with tales of how robots and autonomous vehicles will ruin our livelihoods.

I’m here to tell people not to fear all robots and autonomous vehicles, and introduce something that will disrupt the transportation industry, ‘SeXla.

People on the go can hop in a SeXla and can enjoy a free ride in the comfy confines while being provided a uniquely immersive and pleasurable stress relieving experience. We’re excited to deploy these in some of the country’s biggest markets. SeXla is coming soon to a city near you.
