Razer’s new Blade 15 laptop features a 240Hz OLED display

If you’re into gaming and need to remain mobile, then pay attention. Razer’s new Blade 15 laptop features an impressive 240Hz refresh rate on its OLED QHD display.

Having a display with an incredibly fast refresh rate means you’ll get silky smooth gameplay, even during fast-moving action like flick turns in FPS or hitting that perfect apex in a racing title.

Razer says its panel offers never-before-seen brightness, colours and more that’ll deliver esports-level speeds like no other laptop today.

There’s no point in having an amazing screen unless you got powerful internals to power it. Thankfully Razer didn’t skimp on the spec sheet, with the Blade 15 paired with a 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti laptop graphics card.

While gamers will love the new Blade 15, content creators are also well within the target audience.

Both games and video content move swiftly thanks to the panel’s ultrafast 1ms response time, freeing users from the decision of colour accuracy or speed.

The unique new OLED display will reach a typical 400 nits brightness and include up to 100% DCI-P3 colors for a crisp, clean picture perfect for a variety of functions, including photo and video editing, watching movies or playing AAA gaming titles.

The new model of the Blade 15 is packed with premium storage solutions such as 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, with an additional M.2 slot for additional space.

Like the rest of the Blade family, it also features the tried-and-true CNC-milled aluminium chassis, laser-cut speaker grills, and versatile connectivity with Thunderbolt 4, USB Type C, USB Type A, a full-sized SD card reader and an HDMI port.

This new OLED Blade 15 is priced at US$3,499.99 and will be available from Q4 this year.
