At this stage, there’s not doubt Apple will announce the iPad 2 tomorrow morning. As with any Apple announcement, there has been lots of speculation about what changes are coming in iPad 2. Adding to the hype, MIC Gadget are even showcasing some leaked iPad designs. While these aren’t the real deal, they do display many of the rumoured changes.
So what will it be that’ll tip you over the edge and pickup an iPad 2 ?
- Thinner
- Lighter
- Front-facing camera
- Rear-facing camera
- Increased storage
- Dual-core processor
- Retina display
- USB or SD port
- New colours
- Cheaper
Whatever the new features turn out to be, please don’t hold off for iPad 3 later in the year. Those rumours are ridiculous. Apple will enter a 12-month released cycle, just like they do with the iPhone, at best they may do something like enable 4G later in the year, but that will be with the iPad2.
