Evie Networks opens much-needed fast EV recharging at Red Rooster in the NT

Electric Vehicle recharging infrastructure is really starting to hit its stride with new chargers and charging locations now regularly announced most weeks of the year. As Australia’s adoption of electric vehicles continues to accelerate, this rollout of fast chargers will continue to be critical in supporting our big wide country.

Today Evie Networks announced a new site, located at @RedRoosterAU is now live in Marrara, NT.

With 2x Tritium RTM 50kW chargers, this location plays a significant role as fast charging infrastructure is incredibly rare and is located close to key locations like the Darwin International Airport.

Red Rooster is helping celebrate the occasion with a special deal for EV customers. You can enjoy free chips (regular size) from Feb 27th – Mar 1st and just show proof of charge at the Marrara site. Some terms and conditions apply – https://lnkd.in/gx9YS9GB.

The charging location looks to be a good one, with painted parking bays, clearly indicating this is for electric vehicles and the parking spaces, are located close to the store entrance. We can expect more fast food outlets and retail locations to add charging options in an effort to attract EV customers.
