The battle was supposed to be between Forza 3 and GT5, but turns out Forza 4 vs GT5 will battle it out for ultimate driving game. Coming US Fall 2011 the Forza 4 Announcement trailer below shows off mostly real life footage to get you in the mood, but there are actually some in-game graphics shown off.
Around 3/4 of the way through the video the Ford GT opens its panels for us to see its lovely detailed guts. This appears to be the way modifications will be done on vehicles, significantly more impressive than the static menus of GT5.
If you can’t tell by now, I’m a massive fan of the Forza franchise and have very high expectations for the 4th edition, good news is, there’s not that long to wait.
One interesting sidenote, at the end of the video the Top Gear logo is shown, this will likely mean Forza fans will get their shot at racing the Top Gear test track.
