Ford Australia are running a competition called the Ford Ranger Challenge, where you (Australians) get to tell Ford how you’d put the Ford Ranger to the ultimate test for a chance to win your very own Ranger.
In January, techAU attended the North American International Auto Show as a guest of Ford to check out their new their new Focus Electric 2012. While getting hands-on with Ford Sync, it became abundantly clear that Ford recognises the future of the automotive industry will be built on technology.
The Ford Ranger is no slouch when it comes to on-board tech, featuring in-dash SatNav and phone / iPod voice control, rear-view camera and sensors, rain-sensing windscreen wipers and your laptop even fits in the glove box. You can change everything from the audio to cruise control, even the air conditioning without taking your hands off the steering wheel. If none of that impresses you, the Ranger comes with a mini cooler to keep drinks cold !
Ford prize pack giveaway
