The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is one of the most popular massively multiplayer online (MMO) games. It’s been around for ten years, with players from all over the world. MMOs tend to bring gamers together by holding in-game events. These types of events usually earn in-game special items, in-game currency, and experience points (XP).
ESO is holding a new event starting this week: Fallen Leaves of West Weald. The event focuses on the new expansion and encourages players to complete various quests. ESO also has an event currency called event tickets.
These event tickets are used to purchase limited time items. One such item that many players have been after, is an Indrik mount. Read on to find out more about how to get the special mount, and what’s in store for this new event.
Nascent Indrik mount – the what and the how
Mounts in Elder Scrolls Online are used to travel around the game faster. Released in 2018, the Nascent Indrik mount is a special mount that players can summon. It doesn’t have any special abilities other than looking way cooler than the standard mount.
Once this mount is summoned, it can be further evolved. This is why many players love the mount and why it’s so coveted. There are many different forms, most of them presenting seasons.
Obtaining a Nascent Indrik and evolutions
To obtain a Nascent Indrik, a player will need four feathers which can each be purchased for ten tickets. These are the limited time tickets that are given away during events such as the upcoming Fallen Leaves of West Weald event. Thus, in order to obtain a Nascent Indrik, a player will need to spend forty tickets. Players are limited to carrying only twelve tickets at any given time, so you’ll need to spend tickets as you obtain them.
Additionally, tickets can only be obtained and spent during in-game events. To purchase the four Indrik Feathers, you’ll need to see the Indrik Vendor in Craglorn. This vendor only appears during events.
The seller will also offer the berries required to morph a Nascent Indrik into one of eight different variations: Dawnwood, Luminous, Onyx, Pure-Snow, Spectral, Icebreath, Mossheart, and Crimson. Only some of the berries are available, depending on the season:
- Spring Indriks (Dawnwood and Spectral) – January to March
- Summer Indriks (Luminous and Icebreath) – April to June
- Autumn Indriks (Mossheart and Onyx) – July to September
- Winter Indriks (Pure Snow and Crimson) – October to December
Each evolutions requires four berries at a cost of ten tickets each. Thus to obtain all the Indrik forms you will need nine Nascent Indriks—one for each evolution, and one to keep as the base—plus one of each of the four berries for each type. There are also corresponding pets for each Indrik which are only ten tickets each. Therefore, if you want all the Indriks and all the pets, that’s a total of 580 tickets required!
Getting tickets
Tickets are handed out during in-game events for completing certain objectives. For example, Fallen Leaves of West Weald will grant two tickets per day by completing Gandrinar’s quest, any West Weald daily quest, or the Lucent Citadel weekly quest. Some in-game events grant three tickets per day. That means it’ll take you about a year to gather enough tickets to purchase all the Indriks you want. This is assuming approximately 97 events days across a calendar year, and thus the chance to obtain two or three tickets per day that’s around 279 tickets available over the calendar year, which gives you enough tickets to purchase all the mounts and pets.
Fallen Leaves of West Weald event
If you are starting your Indrik hunt, then you can start collecting tickets from midnight September 27. There are also lots of other great tasks available for players during the Fallen Leaves in-game event. The more quests that are completed, the more rewards are unlocked for the community. Players will also earn special items called Coffers by beating bosses and monsters, harvesting resource nodes, or pickpocketing. You can also obtain Coffers by opening treasure chests, safeboxes, psijic portals, Thieves Troves, or other lootable objects. These activities need to be completed within West Weald, the new location within Elder Scrolls Online.
Coffers are containers which include several items. These items can include crafting materials, sellable treasure, Companion gear, or style pages. Players can also obtain Gold Road items set pieces, furnishings, recipes, treasure maps, motif pages, or a rare tradable style page.
Players will also receive double XP on all West Weald daily and weekly quests. Harvesting nodes—where players gain resources—are increased, and all bosses within West Weald will award double loot.
