The expansion of Australia’s EV charging network continues, with a new site in Western Australia coming online this week.
The location at Dunsborough Centrepoint offers a EV-NRG i-charging blueberry cluster with 4xCCS2 connectors sharing 400kW of power.
The blueberry CLUSTER may not be a setup many are familiar with, this scalable solution enables 2-4 charging outlets and power configurations ranging from 100kW up to 900kW.
This future proof charger grows as the demand for EV charging grows, giving you flexibility to add more power or outlets as required, when required!
There’s a large 32″ touch screen display, which can also be programmed to display advertising content, helping return revenue to the site.
Located at Dunsborough Centrepoint drivers can shop, dine and enjoy amenities while they charge.

HFM successfully secured grant funding, designed, and managed installation of 400kW ultra-fast EV chargers at Dunsborough Centrepoint Shopping Centre.
The centre has a 440kW combination of carport and rooftop solar PV system, also designed and managed by HFM. This means that the midday EV charges will come from a clean renewable source. The chargers can charge four EVs simultaneously, each with a large display for static and dynamic advertisements. Each CCS2 charging cable is rated at 350kW – an outstanding performance.
The chargers can be programmed for variable rates depending on the time of use and are equipped with dynamic load management systems to ensure that the maximum loading is not exceeded. This is essential for safe operation of properties and to manage the sites peak demands. Round 3 of WA’s Charge Up Grant Program is now open, allowing more customers to apply for EV charger funding in Western Australia.
Round 3 funds up to 50% of the purchase and installation of AC and/or DC charging equipment for electric vehicles.
Applications close 30 June 2025, unless funding is fully committed prior to this date.
