Tesla kicks off rollout of FSD V13

Tesla’s FSD V13 software update is finally starting to roll out, this morning we had our first confirmation this went to employees, and is now shipping to the first customer vehicles.

The new Software Update version is 2024.39.10 which includes FSD V13.2, showing it’s already been through a couple of internal revisions before getting wider distribution.

The world will be looking closely. Looking forward to seeing how much progress is made V12 – V13.. expecting it’ll feel much closer to the robotaxi future, will be interesting to see if Tesla changes anything by way of driver notifications of impending issue, given interventions are likely to be far less frequent.

The full release notes have now been shared.

The V13 series of releases will take us from FSD (Supervised), to FSD (Unsupervised).. Can you image being able to use your phone or have a sleep while your car drives.. that’s a future I want to live in.

While the V13 release has been a little delayed from the original timeline shared by TeslaAI, but thankfully that wait is now over.

My hope now, and the hope of all Australian FSD owners is that we see a RHD model soon (finger’s crossed for Q1 2025).
