After releasing screens, what now seems forever ago, version 2.0 of the Facebook iPhone application made it to the App Store today and is available now.

– Photo tagging
– Photo captioning
– Photo posts to your friends’ Walls
– The full Mini-Feed, now combined with The Wall
– Your entire inbox, plus the sent folder and updates tab
– Inbox search
– Message attachments

After using the updated application for a couple of hours now, it definitely seems much faster, more responsive than before, making it more inviting to use. This update brings the functionality of the iPhone App, to being very close to what’s offered from the full site. If your a Facebook user and haven’t already, I recommend u get the update now.
About the only negative I can see is they still lack this ability to swipe left or right, when your viewing photos in landscape mode.
