After being out of the country last week, I returned to a new (old) Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. This morning Rudd reshuffled his cabinet and added the communication portfolio to the Deputy Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese. Previously the domain of Senator Conroy, this means Albanese has added one of the hottest political topics to his portfolio.
The NBN is the single biggest political issue that will effect most of the readers of this site, so your FTTH champion just became @AlboMP. Currently Albanese has 25,469 followers, you can expect that to grow with his new job. He is a politician who posts regularly and I’d expect that to begin including much more about NBN discussion.
