Spotify is given artists a huge boost in a new About page. This new tab will be available on the Artist page and allow you to get a much more detailed look at the artist’s background and following, amongst ranking as compared to others in the world.
The new About Page brings you:

Global rank based on monthly listeners

Where people are discovering the artist, ranked by most popular playlists

Which cities the artist is most popular in
The new About tab is being rolled out, so if you fire up Spotify and don’t see it just yet, just wait longer. While the mobile app surfaces the biography of Artists, this About page looks like it’s only coming to the desktop app for now.
